Competition Rules
1) Open only to homeschooled students grades K-12. There is just one category this year.
2) Only contests listed on the HomeschoolWriters Contest Chart may count for the Homeschool Writer of the Year Competition. However, if you see a contest not listed on the Contest Chart that you would like to enter, let us know about it and we will consider adding it to the chart (thus making it possible for you to count it).
3) Contest runs from 2/1/10-11/30/10. You may only count contests you entered within this time range.
4) Multiple entries in the same contest can only count as one contest, the only exception being contests with multiple deadlines per year (e.g., Creative Communications).
5) Re-using essays/poems for multiple contests still counts as multiple contests. Just make sure that the contests allow you to do this.
6) Contests on our Ongoing Contests page count just the same as regular contests.
